In Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, up to four players take on the roles of Colonial Marines deployed to some of the most dangerous locations in the Alien universe. This is not a rescue mission, but a fight for survival. Xenomorphs lurk throughout the corridors, launch surprise attacks from the darkness, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Any room could become the place where players make their final stand.

Four-player squads and an upgraded class system

Compared with the first game, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 expands squad sizes from three to four players while introducing new team-based coordination mechanics. The character classes have also been revamped and improved, with each offering a distinct playstyle and tactical skill set. Different combinations can therefore create a very different experience from one squad to another.

The most notable character-building feature is the fully customizable Specialist class. Players can combine primary and secondary abilities from other classes to create a loadout tailored to their preferred playstyle, allowing them to fill whatever role the squad needs.

More diverse and dangerous Xenomorphs

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 introduces a large variety of new Xenomorph types, forcing players to stay mobile and remain constantly aware of their surroundings. To deal with these threats, players have access to a wide range of weapons and equipment, from stun batons for close-quarters combat in emergencies to incendiary and electric ammunition that can weaken Xenomorph ranks before they overwhelm the entire squad. As a result, a battle can shift from carefully calculated combat to a desperate last stand in an instant.

Horde mode with multiple new maps

The game launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps, where squads must withstand increasingly intense waves of Xenomorphs and other dangerous enemies. The deeper players progress into the battle, the more valuable the rewards become. It is also the ultimate test of teamwork and combat skills.
