Duskfade – An emotional journey to save a sister from Weird Beluga

Duskfade, the 3D action-adventure game developed by Weird Beluga and published by Fireshine Games, has officially launched on Steam. The game is a love letter to classic 3D action platformers, promising a nostalgic experience for players who grew up with the genre.

A journey through time to save a loved one

The story of Duskfade follows Zirian, a young boy accompanied by his mechanical bird companion, Cuckoo. Together, they must find a way to rescue Zirian's sister from the mysterious darkness engulfing the Clock Tower, which has plunged the entire land into eternal night.

To complete his mission, Zirian must restore the flow of time and uncover the secrets left behind by the Master Clockmakers. Along the way, he must also confront a dark force known as Despair.

Platforming and fast-paced combat

The highlight of Duskfade is its combination of fluid movement and fast-paced combat. Players can jump, glide, grapple, and soar through a series of challenges inspired by classic action platformers.

A vast world filled with mysteries

The game's world is divided into multiple distinct regions, each shaped by the Master Clockmakers. Players will explore enchanted forests, deep seas, sun-scorched deserts, and mist-shrouded mountain peaks.

Each region hides numerous secrets waiting to be discovered, along with charming characters who will accompany Zirian throughout his adventure.

An emotional coming-of-age story

Beyond its action-focused gameplay, Duskfade also delivers an emotional coming-of-age story centered on loss and the courage to face the unknown.

Throughout his journey, Zirian will meet a diverse cast of characters and face long-forgotten enemies alongside them. Each enemy also represents a psychological obstacle that the protagonist must overcome.

Duskfade has been available on Steam since August 13, 2026, featuring single-player gameplay as well as Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Alongside the main game, a separate Duskfade soundtrack album has also been released on Steam for players who want to enjoy the game's music on its own.
