The Ranchers launches in Early Access, inviting players to build their dream farm

The Ranchers, a sandbox-style farming life simulation game, officially launched in Early Access on Steam on July 30, 2026. Supporting both solo play and online co-op for up to four players, the game lets players explore an open world while building and managing the farm of their dreams.

Build your ideal farming lifestyle

Players take on the role of a city resident who moves to the countryside in search of a fresh start. Beginning with a small plot of land, you'll grow crops, raise livestock, gather resources, expand your farm, and build relationships with the local community.

The crafting system allows players to create fences, greenhouses, irrigation systems, and many other structures to improve their farm. You'll also manage electricity and water while building sustainable energy sources such as wells, wind turbines, and solar panels to reduce operating costs and even sell excess power for additional income.

Crops and animal products can be sold at the local market or used to fulfill daily orders, providing a steady source of income to expand your homestead. Players can also raise a variety of animals, including chickens, rabbits, goats, and cows, in barns and pens of different sizes.

Explore an open world with friends

The Ranchers features an open world filled with locations such as markets, shops, vehicle dealerships, parks, and even a casino. Players can travel using various vehicles, while the dynamic day-and-night cycle and changing seasons make time management an important part of gameplay, as many businesses operate only during specific hours.

In addition to building and decorating your home, you can invite up to three friends to help manage the farm in online co-op. The game also offers the freedom to choose your own path, whether you want to be a model citizen or break the law and deal with the in-game police.
