More than 400 playable WWE wrestlers

The biggest highlight of WWE 2K26 is its roster of more than 400 playable wrestlers, considered the largest lineup in the history of the series. Players can choose from legendary icons as well as modern WWE superstars.

The roster includes familiar names such as The Rock, Triple H, John Cena and Rhea Ripley, alongside fan favorites like Rey Fénix, Rusev and Blake Monroe. This variety allows players to easily create dream matches between different generations of wrestlers.

New match types

WWE 2K26 introduces several new match types to expand gameplay variety. Among them is the I Quit match, where players must force their opponent to surrender, as well as the Inferno Match, where the ring is surrounded by flames.

The game also features Dumpster Match and several other variations, creating dramatic and unpredictable showdowns.

Scrapyard Brawl – wrestling in a junkyard

Another notable highlight is Scrapyard Brawl, a new arena set in a junkyard. In this environment, players can take advantage of surrounding objects to unleash chaotic and unpredictable attacks.

This match type offers a more explosive and free-form experience compared to traditional in-ring bouts, while also opening up new strategic possibilities.

2K Showcase and the story of CM Punk

The 2K Showcase mode in WWE 2K26 focuses on the career journey of CM Punk. Players will relive some of the wrestler’s most memorable matches while also exploring fictional scenarios based on rivalries that could have happened.

This mode blends recreated historic matches with "what-if" situations, allowing players to revisit CM Punk’s rebellious path and comeback in a fresh way.

Familiar modes receive upgrades

Alongside new content, WWE 2K26 continues to improve several familiar modes from the series. Universe Mode allows players to run their own WWE shows, including managing rivalries, match cards and results.

MyGM presents a management challenge where players must build a successful wrestling program, while MyRISE tells the story of a MySUPERSTAR whose choices between heel or babyface influence how the storyline unfolds.

Community Creations has also been expanded with more detailed editing tools, allowing players to create wrestlers, arenas and a wide variety of custom content.

The biggest WWE 2K game yet

With its massive roster, new match types and expanded game modes, WWE 2K26 aims to become the most ambitious entry in the WWE 2K wrestling series so far.

For wrestling fans, it offers the chance to recreate classic matches or craft entirely new scenarios in the world of WWE.
