A blend of nostalgia and modern design

Originally released on March 2, 1990, the new edition marks 35 years since its debut on consoles. This is more than a simple remake. Instead, it carefully combines the spirit of the original with modern enhancements. For the first time, the game is launching simultaneously worldwide, removing language barriers for international players.

Story: following the city sweeper

Players step into the shoes of Ryo Saeba, also known as City Hunter. In the underground world, he works as a professional “sweeper,” taking on any request, from protecting beautiful clients to carrying out high-risk assassination missions. By his side is Kaori, the younger sister of his late best friend, who brings both comedic chaos and emotional depth to every mission.

The game faithfully portrays Ryo Saeba’s life on the edge, as he confronts the worst criminals in the city to see each job through.
