Slay the Spire 2 officially launches in Early Access: the legendary roguelike deckbuilder returns
The sequel to the game that redefined the roguelike deckbuilder genre has officially arrived. Slay the Spire 2 launched in Early Access on Steam on March 6, 2026, and quickly climbed the trending charts thanks to its blend of familiar core mechanics and bold new improvements.
The awakening after 1,000 years
The story of Slay the Spire 2 takes place after the Spire awakens from a thousand-year slumber. In this Early Access version, players can choose from five different characters.
