The world of Fire: The First Dreamer takes players back to a distant age when the world was newly shaped by the Gods. During that time, humanity lived in harmony with nature but remained vulnerable to natural disasters and wild beasts. Moved by their struggle, the Gods joined with the spirits of the ocean, mountains, forests, plants, and animals to create a sacred covenant. Each entity bestowed a gift upon humanity to help them survive. In return, people were expected to respect and protect the balance of the world. This marked the origin of the first totem spirits.

However, the Gods soon realized that humans possessed a mind capable of both creation and destruction. As a result, they gifted humanity Fire, not only as a source of warmth and cooking but also as a living entity that connected the human mind to the breath of Mother Earth. At the same time, Dragon, the oldest of all ancient creatures, was entrusted with safeguarding the deepest secrets of a better way of life.
