Amid the destruction, New Eridu stands as the last stronghold of human civilization. The city has survived and prospered by developing advanced technologies to harvest valuable resources from the dangerous Hollows, transforming a global catastrophe into a sustainable coexistence.

The role of a Proxy

Players take on the role of a Proxy, an expert operating under the alias Phaethon. In New Eridu, ordinary people cannot navigate the chaotic structure of the Hollows without risking insanity or transformation into monsters. Proxies serve as essential guides, leading professional fighters known as Agents through constantly shifting dimensions to complete commissions, rescue stranded citizens, and battle powerful enemies.

Zenless Zone Zero focuses on a fast-paced real-time combat system. Gameplay revolves around using basic attacks and special attacks while reacting to enemy assaults.
