Culdcept BEGINS builds upon the series' signature gameplay formula, blending dice-based movement with strategic card battles. Players take on the role of Cepters, masters of powerful cards who compete in intense tactical matches where luck and strategy go hand in hand. Your objective is to travel across the board, claim territories, and develop the most effective offensive and defensive strategies to achieve victory.

The journey of a Cepter across the continent of Bavrashka

The story of Culdcept BEGINS takes players to Bavrashka, a fantasy continent created by the gods. At the heart of this world stands Royal Cept Academy, an institution dedicated to training Cepters to harness the power of ancient stones known as Culds, fragments of Culdcept itself.

Players follow Kamur, a new transfer student at Royal Cept Academy. Recognized for his exceptional talent, Kamur is quickly recruited into the Royal Cepter Guard Regiment. As the conflict intensifies, he becomes caught in battles that threaten the fate of the entire continent while awakening the hidden power of a true Cepter.

Over 400 cards with a completely redesigned presentation

One of the biggest highlights of this release is its collection of more than 400 cards, all redesigned with fresh, visually striking artwork. Building the right deck by combining different card types is the key to executing your preferred strategy:

  • Creature Cards: These cards summon creatures to capture new territories or seize land from opponents. Creature Cards are divided into five elemental categories, each offering unique abilities and stats.
  • Item Cards: These support cards strengthen your creatures during battles. Beyond simply boosting attack or defense, their special effects can completely turn the tide when used at the right moment.
  • Spell Cards: Powerful spells provide movement advantages, strengthen your resources, or directly disrupt your opponents. When used strategically, Spell Cards can dramatically change the outcome of a match in a single turn.
