Put your trust to the test in North Hunt, a Viking-themed social deduction game

4

North Hunt, an online multiplayer social deduction game, has officially launched for PC players. Developed by the team behind the successful West Hunt, the game places two to eight players in a Viking village where suspicion, deception, and mind games unfold at every turn.

Stealth gameplay built around blending in

In North Hunt, players enter a world where any villager could actually be another player in disguise. The game's core gameplay revolves around blending into crowds, mimicking the behavior of NPC villagers, completing objectives, and outsmarting opponents through stealth, observation, and psychological tactics. Every movement or small mistake can quickly raise suspicion among rival players.

Two opposing roles: Chief and Thief

The game divides players into two opposing factions, each with a completely different objective:

  • Chief: Your mission is to identify and eliminate the Thieves before they complete their objectives. You'll need to watch for suspicious behavior, track unusual movements, and use special abilities to make the right call. A single false accusation can completely change the outcome of the match.
  • Thief: Your goal is to blend in with the villagers, keep your notoriety as low as possible, and complete assigned objectives without drawing attention. A poorly timed move, a failed skill check, or even a suspicious pause can expose your identity to the Chief.

New features and gameplay improvements

Building on the mechanics that made its predecessor popular, North Hunt expands the experience with additional player roles, an improved skill check system, and a revamped matchmaking system. These additions are designed to deepen strategy, create more unpredictable encounters, and increase the game's replay value.

North Hunt officially launched for PC on July 13, 2026. Players interested in learning more can visit the game's Steam store page for additional details.
