On May 7, 2026, Radical Fish Games – the studio behind the success of CrossCode – officially released their newest title, Alabaster Dawn, in early access on PC. The game blends fast-paced action, challenging puzzles, and an epic narrative set in a mysterious fantasy world.

The journey to restore humanity in Tiran Sol

The story of Alabaster Dawn begins as the darkness of Nyx engulfs the world, turning the once-thriving land of Tiran Sol into ruins, with the gods vanished and humanity plunged into a deep slumber. Players take on the role of Juno, an Outcast Chosen who has just awakened with a challenging mission: revive humanity, break the curse of Nyx, and restore the world to its former glory.

One standout feature of the game is its settlement reconstruction system. As you assist communities, villages visually transform, unlocking new trade routes, scientific advancements, and additional exploration paths. The developers estimate a playtime of 30 to 60 hours, featuring seven unique regions for players to explore.

Stylish combat system

Building on the legacy of CrossCode and inspired by titles such as Devil May Cry and Kingdom Hearts, Alabaster Dawn delivers a deep and fast-paced combat system:

  • Weapons and elements: Players can master four elements and eight unique weapon types. You can equip two weapons per element and switch between them seamlessly even during attack combos.
  • Dedicated skill trees: Each weapon features its own skill tree, allowing players to unlock powerful Combat Arts to stylishly overwhelm enemies.
  • Divine Arts: These are powerful elemental abilities that serve as finishing moves against the toughest foes.

Exploration and environmental puzzles

Although the gods have fallen silent, they left behind ancient structures and hidden secrets. Players must use the abilities of their party members and various weapons to solve puzzles, perform parkour across hidden paths, and gather resources. The world map supports reminders, fast travel, and objective markers to streamline exploration.

Alabaster Dawn offers deep customization systems for developing Juno:

  • Gem system: Embed gems into weapons and equipment cores to activate enchantments ranging from basic stat boosts to special effects. Gems can be crafted and upgraded through Artificers.
  • Cooking system: Preparing meals at rest points increases healing item capacity and provides temporary stat boosts. Experimenting with new recipes raises your Palate Level, improving future food effects.

Combining smooth action gameplay with community-building mechanics, Alabaster Dawn promises an engaging adventure for fans of action RPGs.
