Vampires: Bloodlord Rising officially launches in Early Access

The survival game world has just received a dark and exciting new entry as Vampires: Bloodlord Rising officially entered Early Access on January 30, 2026, on PC. Set in the medieval land of Sangavia, the game is attracting major attention thanks to its blend of action RPG gameplay and an in-depth castle-building system.

Awaken and reclaim your throne

In Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, players begin their journey as a vampire lord who awakens from a long slumber in a weakened state. To reclaim your former status, you must revive the heart of your fortress, known as the Castle Core. By feeding blood to the Castle Core, you will unlock new territories, uncover mysterious regions hidden by mist, and gradually regain control over the cursed land of Sangavia.

Build your castle and manage thralls

One of the game’s biggest highlights is its deep fortress customization system. Players can design towering halls, secret laboratories, and gothic-style towers. The castle is not just a shelter, but a symbol of your growing power.

The world is filled with prey. You can hunt humans or wild beasts to restore your strength and perform dark rituals. Players can also turn villagers into vampire thralls to assist with crafting, hunting, building, or defending your empire from invaders.

Survival skills and confronting the Inquisition

To survive the long nights, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising offers a complex skill tree system. Players can switch between different forms depending on the situation:

  • Aristocrat: A noble form with powers of domination.
  • Hunter: Focused on combat and hunting abilities.
  • Bat form: Transform into a bat to fly and explore distant lands from above.

However, power always comes with resistance. The Inquisition and their holy warriors will relentlessly hunt you down. These encounters require strong combat skills and sharp tactical thinking to protect your vampire kingdom.

Play solo or with friends

Whether you choose to rule as a solitary tyrant or share power with others, the game supports both playstyles. Co-op mode supports up to four players, allowing you and your friends to build a castle together and uncover the darkest secrets of Sangavia.
