A story about the fight to protect the planet

The story takes players to Midgar, where the powerful energy corporation Shinra is exploiting Mako — the planet’s lifeblood — in its quest for total control. Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER turned mercenary, joins the resistance group Avalanche on a mission to destroy Reactor No. 1.

Amid the flames of conflict, a figure from Cloud’s past unexpectedly reemerges, setting the stage for a new journey that challenges memories, identity, and the fate of the entire world.
